Teaeku Dance
Teaeku called the name of the traditional dance of ethnic nage & keo was available in the Ngada Regency, and was done to welcome planed rice, and the dancer is woman’s and was numbering that 6 people or more. In their hand, the dancer was tied cloth that the same measurement like the handkerchief and the movement foot together with the gong sound and the drum.
until this time teaeku dancer still becoming one of the most popular dances for the two ethnic groups above and was done in traditional ceremony also in the exhibition of the traditional dance.

Tea means to wave repeatedly and “eku’ means a piece of cloth (handkerchief) or sometimes small branch of a tree in hand.
